GearUp was designed to help people learn about and explore kink. Kinksters of all levels, even brand new, are welcome. The committee and return campers want to help you find your way. We have a camper-only Telegram channel you can ask questions in. We have a special meet and greet at the beginning of camp to help us all get to know each other. We have lots of programs throughout the weekend to help you learn new stuff. We have lots of equipment you can Learn about and play with.

Not at all! GearUp celebrates a wide range of kinks and interests. Whether you’re here to try something new, enjoy your favorites, or simply connect with others, there’s no pressure to participate in anything you’re not into.

The most inexpensive option would be to stay in the Bunk rooms. We would encourage you to reach out to folks in our FB group or telegram group to see if folks have tents, sleeping bags, etc. they’re willing to loan for the weekend. This year, we are adding Glamping Tents which are set up for you and include 2 queen beds, bedding, and power. See Rates for more info.
-
Plenty of St. Andrew’s Crosses, slings, benches, tables, suspended tables are available. There are a small number of winches available for suspension. All spaces are stocked with cleaning, medical, and safer sex supplies. There is lube available but we highly recommend you BYO.

Everyone makes that choice… and yeah a lot of folks wear next to nothing. Nudity is common and celebrated almost everywhere on property except meals/dining hall where your junk and ass crack must be covered. You’re welcome to grab your meal and sit naked outside if you like, or you’re welcome to wear what makes you comfortable.
-
Attendees are sent a packing list with a full rundown of essentials, including gear, toiletries, and camping items. Pro tip: Everyone needs to bring their own towel. Bring one for showers and one for the pool if you can.
-
There is a land line (ask us if you don’t know what that is) for emergencies. Mobile service is limited to non existent. There is no wi-fi. The Weekend is designed to get you off your phone and into some human interactions. If you have a work emergency, we can get you instructions to the closest town to take a call or zoom should you be so unfortunate.

Smoking (tobacco/marijuana/vapes) are ok in two designated areas only due to fire risk and absolutely nowhere else. We are quite serious about this. Alcohol is fine in moderation but we won’t allow folks to play if they’re too altered. Poppers are ok in designated areas. No other recreational substances are welcome. (Prescription and OTC medicine are always fine.)
-
We have an open bar which means we can only allow folks 21+ to attend. if you’re 18+ and have questions about finding your community, reach out to us and we will point you in the right direction.
-
We will reach out to you as soon as a space is available, but we can’t give you a specific time frame
-
Yes. Everyone, including the committee does chores. You can state a preference and tell us about accommodations during registration, but sometimes we have to move folks around.
Chores will not be announced until you arrive at camp.
We are a community and pay attention if folks miss a chore duty without letting us know.

The final night has a short and fun competition called The Runway. Anyone can join in the fun. Create a fun or sexy lewk—why not both?!—and strut it down the runway for our judges, which will include last year’s winner! If you have questions, ask around the Camper Telegram Channel for what to expect. You better work!
